The trend towards a more robust Lake Norman real estate market didn't skip a beat during the first month of the new year. Inventory continued to shrink, creating a more active and dynamic market. When we compare January 2013 with January 2012 for the Lake Norman area, the picture is quite clear: more homes are selling, fewer homes are coming on the market, and sales prices are rising.
If you're as wonkish about the Lake Norman real estate market as I am, you'll definitely want to check out our recently published "10 Year Market Study for the Lake Norman Region." This study provides in-depth, town-by-town sales figures for the entire Lake Norman region, and it's fascinating to observe the uniqueness of the statistics for each town. Real estate is indeed local, and this study takes it to the ultra-local level. Click here for the link to the study.
