On Monday, January 28, the American Red Cross partnered with Surterre Properties® to host the company’s semi-annual blood drive at their headquarters in Newport Beach. With a total of 27 donors, they were able to collect 22 pints of blood. As a result, 66 lives will be saved thanks to these volunteers.

In addition to the blood drive, Surterre hosted a Be The Match Donor Registry Event. Be The Match Donor Registry connects patients with blood cancers like leukemia and lymphoma, sickle cell and other life-threatening diseases with their donor match for a life-saving bone marrow transplant. The event signed up 12 people who applied to be listed on the registry.

“We value the kindness and generosity of all of those who participated and saved lives at our blood drive and Be The Match Donor Registry Event,” explained Gary Legrand, President and CEO of Surterre Properties. “We want to sincerely thank all of the donors and volunteers for giving so much of themselves in order to help us give back to the community.”

Surterre Properties is a leading, full-service real estate firm in Southern California designed to bring personalized service to the coastal real estate marketplace while preserving the abundant natural beauty that’s shaped the area into one of the world’s most desirable destinations.
