Former New York City Mayor Rudolph W. Giuliani and his wife, Judith S. Giuliani, purchased a condominium at The Southlake, 315 S. Lake Drive, Unit 5-D, for $1.4 million from Lawrence E. Larson, trustee for the Jean Daniels Cluett Trust, according to the warranty deed recorded Thursday.
The Jean D. Cluett Trust bought the approximately 2,000-square-foot three-bedroom apartment overlooking the Midtown Marina in 2003 for $1.25 million. Cluett died in 2006; her husband, David Grenfell Cluett, died in November.
In 2004, the Giulianis bought an apartment at the Palm Beach Towers, 44 Cocoanut Row, for $410,000.
Ashley Copeland, a Realtor-associate with Brown Harris Stevens Palm Beach, represented the seller; Ed Curran, also a sales associate with Brown Harris Stevens, represented the Giulianis.
The apartment was listed for $1.58 million.
