The annual Corporate Treadmill Challenge is a fantastic “fun run or walk” raising funds for the Murdoch Childrens Research Institute. This year the Institute is hoping to raise in excess of $800,000 for research into diabetes, asthma, premature births and mental health problems affecting our children.

A very simple concept – the challenge is to be undertaken on 1 day, for 10 hours with a 20 people tag team – running or walking on a treadmill for 30 minutes. Each corporate team has its own treadmill located in major city venues. The event starts on Friday 25th September in Forrest Place, Perth and then moves weekly to our major cities at a prominent venue in Melbourne, Brisbane, Adelaide and finishing in Martin Place, Sydney on 13th November.

Each participant within the corporate team seeks sponsorship and or donations from friends, family, clients and co-workers. Foxtel are the organisers of this fabulous event and if you are interested in having your company participate, the benefits, apart from the team building and health aspects of the challenge, are great media coverage throughout the country and most importantly you are working towards finding ways to help our kids live a better life.

Come on Aussies, put you runners on and get going. Hope to see you there.
