Personal thoughts from within the Luxury Real Estate network

By Jean-Yves Piton

Customer service and after-sale services are perceived as differentiators in today’s business world. That is differentiating good firms from great firms.

But what is Total Customer Satisfaction (TCS) you might ask?

The succinct answer is: Getting your customers to buying from you by giving them total satisfaction in return – thus, generating referrals in the process.

Meanwhile, as part of the Six Sigma concept focusing on Total Quality Management (TQM), total customer satisfaction is the measure of how products and services supplied by your company surpass your customers’ expectation to consistently deliver total quality.

In a depressed economy, where spending is down, where business rivals are competing for the best prices and products, are you incorporating total customer satisfaction as part of your business strategy?

To stay abreast of competition, many high-level luxury real estate firms worldwide are presently offering VIP services to further delight their demanding clients. Special services such as home inspections, house cleaning/keeping, remodeling, moving, pool services, newspaper delivery, senior-citizen services, storage, errands, travel and entertainment, lawn mowing, etc. are made available to clients. The list is long! Such extra services are seen as the future of superior real estate.

Putting the customers’ needs first – that’s one of the biggest mottos in any service-based industry. Total Customer Satisfaction looks like a great system for measuring the quality of a company’s services and products. Make sure you’re meeting and exceeding your clients’ needs!
